Can I color a gown of satin and lace?
I know someone who has a dress of lace and satin and bleach was spilled on it. She would ask whether it would be safe to color it.She paid $ 200.00 for it. The color is royal blue.
Bleach removes color and it is almost impossible to be 100% accurate. Since the color is royal blue, I think the color option for the dye is a darker, as dark blue or black. Satin and Lace will dye, but it is not easy to color a large garment home. Go to the store (like Wal-Mart) and find the RIT dye products and read the label. You'll see what I mean. Since the dress was so expensive to begin with, it would certainly useful to take the money it to a professional for advice and treatment. Try the nearest dry cleaning. The people who are magicians with the sort. Good luck!
